Unlike other artists, the driving force behind Ted’s photography is not financial gain, but the desire to make a positive difference in other’s lives. Ted does not sell his images – he only donates his work to worthwhile charities. Each year Ted chooses different organizations to work with.

In 2015 Ted donated work to support organizations who focusing their efforts on ALS and MLS related research like the Colorado non-profit ALS Never Surrender, and Access Gallery – a gallery in Denver’s Santa Fe art district that provides instruction and a safe place where the disabled can create art.

2017 brought the public debut of Landscapes of the Body at Access Gallery. It was important for Ted to find a gallery to debut his work that was not reliant on commissions, since the photos were not for sale – Access Gallery was the perfect spot. Ted also worked with Heather’s Camp – a Kansas based foundation that provides a summer camp experience for blind and visually impaired kids. Heather’s Camp had their first camp in Estes Park, Colorado and Ted was there to mentor the kids as well as speak about his vision loss and time in the videogame industry. Ted also attended the Kansas Heather’s Camp where he spoke twice about living with vision loss. At both camps, Ted and his wife Carrie taught the kids about a historic photographic process called photograms using the cyanotype technique. Rounding out the year Ted worked with The Wine Opener – A Toast to Wichita’s Finest a Kansas based non-profit working with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

We are excited to announce that we are supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind and Lighthouse for the Blind as our featured charities through 2022.

We work with charities large and small, feel free to drop us an email to discuss how we can work together to make a positive difference in other’s lives.
